Acoustic Fingerprinting
We analyze the unique audio characteristics of your recordings to create a digital fingerprint—like a DNA signature for your music. This fingerprint is then registered with ID services worldwide.

How It Works
Upload Your Music
Submit your recordings to PreparedwayLock in WAV or MP3 format. You can optionally include metadata like artist name and song title.
We Generate Fingerprints
Our system (powered by Chromaprint technology) analyzes your audio and creates unique acoustic fingerprints.
Registration with ID Services
Your fingerprints are registered with our partner ID services, creating a permanent record of your ownership.
Continuous Protection
ID services monitor uploads across platforms. When a match is detected, you're notified and can request takedown or claim monetization.
Important Notes
Not a Guarantee: While PreparedwayLock significantly reduces unauthorized use, we cannot guarantee that all platforms will cross-reference our database or that fingerprint technology will detect every unauthorized upload.
Permanent Registration: Once fingerprints are registered with ID services, they remain in their databases even if you terminate your PreparedwayLock service.
Your Responsibility: You must own or have legal rights to all recordings you submit to PreparedwayLock. Submitting content you don't own may result in account termination.
