How distribution works: PreparedWay prepares your release—profile, metadata, audio, artwork, and rights confirmations—and our team reviews it. Delivery to streaming platforms and digital stores is handled by our distribution partner, who also provides royalty reporting and payouts according to our agreement. Your PreparedWay account is where you prepare and track your side of the journey; store links and detailed delivery timelines are shared when your release is live (by email or in the app as we add those features).

Create Your Account
Apply and complete registration. PreparedWay reviews applications so onboarding stays pastoral and secure. Rights stay yours—we take only the limited licence needed for distribution (see Terms).
Upload Your Music
Share your tracks and artwork. We accept lossless formats (WAV and FLAC where supported) and guide you through metadata so your forwarded release packet is accurate.
Partner Delivery to Stores
After PreparedWay review, your release is forwarded—manually at first where needed—to our distribution partner, who submits to participating stores subject to acceptance and QC.
Track PreparedWay Status
See release statuses in PreparedWay—drafts, awaiting review, approved, and more. Stream counts and listener geography arrive later as partner analytics integrate; meanwhile our team answers questions honestly.
Royalties on Partner Timelines
Stores and partners report royalties on industry schedules—we are integrating balances and payouts in-app. Until that work ships, PreparedWay explains timelines and honours the Terms commitments on funds we receive for you.
