How distribution works: PreparedWay prepares your release—profile, metadata, audio, artwork, and rights confirmations—and our team reviews it. Delivery to streaming platforms and digital stores is handled by our distribution partner, who also provides royalty reporting and payouts according to our agreement. Your PreparedWay account is where you prepare and track your side of the journey; store links and detailed delivery timelines are shared when your release is live (by email or in the app as we add those features).

What we offer artists
Recording royalties: Monies from digital stores flow according to our Terms and our distribution partner’s reporting—we do not take a platform percentage of those recording royalties beyond the fees listed here.
Publishing, neighboring rights, and performance royalties: May be available through add-ons or partner services—scope varies by territory and registration. We confirm what applies to you before you pay for publishing or related add-ons.

Renewal grace period & arrears (Basic)
Our distribution partner may keep releases live even if you skip a renewal, so unpaid Basic fees can still accumulate (see FAQ + Terms section 4). We use a 30-day grace (industry-friendly) and a $20 arrears handling fee after grace—enough to recover partner and admin costs without compounding interest or surprise percentage rates.

Annual vs monthly Basic: dollar examples in this table use the published $50/year renewal. If you activate monthly Basic, Service Fees per cycle follow Pricing for that plan and support guidance until fully automated in billing.
Labels, catalogs, ministry accounts, or custom deals may substitute different grace periods—only what you sign separately applies. Preparedway may waive portions of Outstanding balances in good faith when you coordinate with support early (not guaranteed).
How Our Pricing Works
We believe in transparency. Distribution is delivered via our partner network. You retain your rights; we collect only the fees listed here. We do not take a percentage cut of your recording royalties as a PreparedWay platform fee, subject to our Terms. Publishing and related services may involve third-party administrators when you purchase them. Our Basic tier and add-ons stay published clearly so gospel artists are not guessing.

Common Questions
When do I pay?
Basic is $50/year when you choose annual billing, or $5/month (~$60/yr if held 12 consecutive months) when monthly is available for your account. In-app checkout may start with annual only—ask support if you need monthly. Add-ons are priced per service above.
How do I get paid?
Royalties are owed according to digital stores and our distribution partner’s reporting. We are integrating balance and payout views in your PreparedWay account; until that is live, payout timing and methods follow partner policy and our team will guide you. We do not promise same-day in-app withdrawals yet.
Are there any hidden fees?
You pay only the published prices for services you choose. Bank or payout processor fees may apply (see Terms). Taxes may apply by region.
What if I don’t renew my membership on time?
Our partner may keep your catalogue live on stores during a lapse, so Preparedway can still owe partner costs. For Basic on the annual plan ($50/year), the published grace and arrears schedule below uses that cycle. Monthly Basic uses the same principles; dollar amounts per overdue cycle follow the billing plan you activated (see Terms + support). You have 30 calendar days after each renewal due date before an arrears handling fee can apply for that cycle. After grace, that cycle is subject to a $20 Additional Charge on top of unpaid Basic fees as described on this page and Terms. Stacking across multiple missed cycles is spelled out below. Contact support early if payment will slip.
Who actually puts my music on Spotify and Apple Music?
Our distribution partner delivers releases to digital service providers. PreparedWay prepares and approves your release, then forwards it for delivery—manually or through automation as our integration stage allows.
Can I see if my release is live on Spotify inside PreparedWay?
Not yet. Store links and DSP status are not shown in the app today; we will notify you and add in-app status when partner data is available.
