Preparedway Gospel Concepts ("Preparedway," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our website, artist portal, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). It should be read together with our Distribution Agreement & Terms.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data: name, email, country, password (stored hashed), artist profile, and onboarding details you provide.
  • Release data: metadata, audio files, artwork, contributor and split information, and distribution selections.
  • Payment data: billing status and transaction references from Paystack; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and usage logs for security and operations.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, secure, and improve the Service;
  • Review applications, releases, and support requests;
  • Process subscription renewals and communicate about your account;
  • Forward approved releases and related data to our distribution partners as described in our Terms;
  • Display royalty and payout information when reported by partners;
  • Comply with law and enforce our agreements.

3. Sharing

We share information with service providers (hosting, database, email, payments) under contractual safeguards, with distribution partners as needed to deliver your music, and when required by law. We do not sell personal information.

4. Retention & security

We retain data while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and royalty obligations. We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and hashed passwords. No method of transmission is 100% secure.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or object to certain processing. Contact us at support@preparedway.com to submit a request. We will verify your identity before responding.

6. International users

If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy by posting a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
